This policy explains what Mike Bells collects when you use this website, why we hold it, and how to have it removed.

What we collect

What you send us. Your name, email address, and — if you choose to give them — phone number, budget, preferred areas, funding position and anything you write in a message.
What the site records. Standard server logs: the page requested, the time, and the browser you used. These are used to keep the site working, not to build a profile of you.

Why we hold it

To reply to your enquiry and run the search you asked for.
To send Property Shots, if you asked for it — and only then.
To keep records of what was agreed, which we are required to do.

Who sees it

Your details are read by Mike Bells. They are not sold, and they are not shared with other investors. Where a deal goes to a third party — a solicitor, a lender, an agent — we will tell you before we pass anything on.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while the search is live and for up to two years afterwards, so that a conversation picked up later still makes sense. Newsletter subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email kola@mikebells.co.uk and we will action it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
